To implement quality education is a strategy to meat the challenges of the 21th centry,improve national quality and train qualified personnel for the new century.Quality education is a kind of humane education with a man as the centre. Chinese education, therefore, should pay attention to developing the human personalities as a whole.The aesthetic education is to develop,standarelize and guide existence of human beings the life. The aesthetic education embodies various aspects of quality education and plays a comprehensive ,coordinated key role in it .The middle school Chinese aesthetic education is a perfect combination of Chinese education and aesthetic education, as is a logical constituent of middle school Chinese education. This kind of education in the long run can help emancipate and develop the human mind, improving the students'human qualities and consequently perfecting their human personalities.This paper begins with the analysis of the close relationship between middle school education and aesthetic education,middle school Chinese education and aesthetic education.It discusses the importance and necessity of aesthetic education in current Chinese teaching .Based on the practice of aesthetic education in Chinese teaching,the paper also analyzes the problems of aesthetic education in middle school Chinese teaching and puts forward some useful suggestionson the practice of aesthetic education in middle school Chinese teaching.
