This paper describes the recent developments in the studies for self-regulated learning, including the developable step of the theory in Foreign and in China, self-regulated learning characteristics,the dimensions of academic self-regulation , the development of the ability to conduct the self-regulated learning and this ability's development laws . Based on the scales from abroad and native and the actual situation of PE .The PE Self-regulated Learning for Middle School Students is proposed. This essay takes the middle school students as subjects and uses PE Self-regulated Learning for Middle School Students as measuring instrument to analyses the difference of the middle school students's PE self-regulated learning between the school, the grade,the gender. At the same time,We explore the self-regulated learning' s development in seven dimensions, which make up of self-regulated learning. The conclusions are as follows: 1There are different levers in the ability of use seven dimensions. 2The grade factor makes no difference in the development of carry on the self-regulated learning, but there are difference in some of the dimensions. 3The gender factor makes significant difference in the development of the ability to carry on the self-regulated learning. 4There are no difference between the school in the development of the ability to carry on the self-regulated learning, but the difference are included in some dimensions between the five-star school and the three-star school. 5There are no difference in the dimension of studying aim except in gender, the development of middle school students's PE self-regulated learning is low.
