Expansion Of The Field Of Physical Education Teacher Education Courses

Presently, course reform of basic education develops promptly while the one for teacher education is rather tardy. The improving of the qualities of PE teachers is urgent. But relevant research is just on the way. This paper tends to explore this area in the purpose of putting forward some ways for improving teachers and course techniques in physical education.The background and contents of PE teacher training as the onset, this paper systematically analyzes the change and development of PE techniques as well as the impetus and meaning of course improving of PE teacher training. It also point out the three problems in curriculum of PE in pre-education and post -education: lack of introducing new sports items; narrowness in developing traditional sports items and wanting of textbook exploration of competitive sports items. Some solutions and ways of reform are also put forward respectively: reforming competitive items, developing new items and digging out traditional sports items.Based on the above analysis, conclusion are safely drawn: the combination of diplomat education and post-education, connection of school education and curriculum reform, as well as the implement of life-long education for teachers.
