Normal Health And Social Intelligence And Mental Health Research

The definition of social intelligence is what the one can acquire from learning,the active way of interplaying with others in the intent social situation,which is an institute including the skills of receiving,explaining and controlling the social messeges. The aim of this research is to investigate the characteristics of the social intelligence of the normal college students and the relationship between the mental health of the students and their social intelligence. Hopefully the fruit of this research can give reference for the cultivation of the social intellect and the development of the ideological political work of the college students.This research adopted the SSI, SCL-90 paper and a self-made questionnaire of the basic individual information, and 220 undergraduates of Zhoukou Normal University in grade one and three are enrolled in this investigation which is about the social ability and psychological health of the college students. The data was statically analyzed through the descriptive analysis, correlative analysis, regression analysis and differentia test.Conclusions of this research can be got as below:(1) The social intellectual level of the normal college students is comparatively low.(2) In the social expression dimensionality, the science students are better than the arts students, but they are almost the same in other dimensionalities.(3) In the social control and social expression dimensionalities, there is distinct difference between the cadres and the common normal college students which shows that the carders are better. There is no obvious difference in other social intellect dimensionalities.(4) There shows no distinct difference between the normal college students of different grades.(5) The only-child normal college students got higher marks than other normal college students in average, but not much higher.(6) The psychological health level of the low-score group is much lower than that of the middle-score and high-score group, but there is no distinct difference between the levels of the middle-score group and high-score group.(7) There is a positive correlation between the social intellect and mental health of the normal college students.
