Learning motivation is one important concept of educational psychology and educational psychology focus question in the field of study in recent years too. Learning motivation is an important factor in the intelligence factors. It has key meanings in the dynamical system of study. It is the direct factor that excites the students to study enthusiastically. Learning motivation is caused by the need of study, it points to psychology inclination and attitude of goal. The forming of the learning motivation does not merely receive influence of students'age characteristics, individual character characteristics, etc. which belongs to subjective factors, but receive influence of an education in family, society and school which belong to objective factors too.Learning motivation is caused by the need of study .Different society and education makes the students learn different contents by their requests, which reflect the different need of study in student's brain too, namely learning motivation is different. Students'learning motivation is varied, the correct learning motivation is one of the important factors to develop students'intelligence and improve the teaching result. And correct learning motivation is trained and excited during the education and the teaching course. In teaching, teachers should take some rational and effective measures to impel students to form the best learning motivation and make it give full play to initiative of one's own study. It can improve learning efficiency constantly in this way and make the learning aid reach the result of getting twice with half the effort. This is a starting point and foothold of this selected works question.Directing against the current situation of Secondary normal school students'learning motivation, in terms of geographical discipline, I probe into the students'geographical meaning, function, produced mode and relations among geographical learning motivation , interest and needing of learning motivation especially . According to the form of learning motivation and development model, I analyses the factor influencing Secondary normal school students'geography learning motivation and propose some geographical measures of learning motivation, which can cultivate and excite students.
