As the major educational-course of biology teacher,biology Subject pedagogy is hard to take effect in cultivating the specialized biology teachers for a long time, which can't meet the needs of the development of our society. In order to keeping up with the trend of international teacher education , meeting the developing of the reform of elementary educational courses, instructing the teaching practice of basic education, this paper discusses the curriculum contents and curriculum construction , which are the most fundamental and important issues in biology Subject pedagogy, attempts to build an ideal biology Subject pedagogy curriculum system , which will be favorable for cultivating the specialized biology teachers.This paper, which employs the methods of literature and data, interview, questionnaire, discusses the theoretical basis and practical references based on the analyzing the problems of biology Subject pedagogy, builds the modular curriculum system of biology Subject pedagogy.This thesis contains 4 chapters. It defines the meaning of biology Subject pedagogy, finds its existing main problems such as the unilateral curriculum objective, poor curriculum contents, stereotyped curriculum construction, traditional single way of teaching, low-efficiency curriculum evaluation in the first part.In the second part ,it discusses the foundation of the establishment from the aspects of theoretical basis and practical references. It discusses the theoretical basis from four aspects such as the theoretical foundation to construct curriculum, the study of society, the advices of expects, the teachers quality structure. Based on the survey of biology teachers and trainees, the studies of documents, it discusses the practical references. In the third part, it designs the modular curriculum system of biology Subject pedagogy from the aspects of knowledge, ability, emotion attitude and the opinion of value, devises the instructional plan. The last part summarizes the effectiveness and understanding, sums seriously up experiences and lessons, finds the research focus in future.After a series of system analyses and discussion, I believe, biology Subject pedagogy is involved in the whole process of biology teacher education with biology teaching as a carrier ,regarding"the whole person"as the starting point and standpoint.In order to cultivate the specialized biology teachers, biology Subject pedagogy should redesign the course of biology teacher education, combine pre-service training with in-service training, and build the modular curriculum system. This system includes three big modules, such as basic knowledge module, basic skill module, practiced movable module. The big module consists of many small modules, such as compulsory curriculum, optional curriculum, practical module, subject-based module. It divides the comprehensive system into many specific ones, combines theories with practices, fuses knowledge, ability, emotion attitude and the opinion of value, builds an all-round curriculum system including compulsory curriculum and optional curriculum, theoretical courses and practical courses, macroscopic course and microscopic course.For the development of biology teacher professionalization, this research integrates different kinds of curricula resources and builds a big curriculum system of biology Subject pedagogy. It breaks through the traditional formation from limiting biology Subject pedagogy to a paper textbook. We hope this paper will make scholars pay attention to this academic discipline, revitalize and develop it.
