Chinese teaching in small-scaled class in a junior middle school is a new model of Chinese teaching to adapt to social development and educational individuation which is called a revolution in education.During the past 10 years, the research in connection with teaching in small-scaled class has been close to the hot spot at home and abroad, which has become a new studying field.In this paper, Chinese teaching in small-scaled class will be further discussed. The main body of the paper will discuss the theory system and the basic concepts of Chinese teaching in small-scaled class: small-scaled class, small-scaled class teaching, the model of small-scaled class teaching and Chinese teaching in small-scaled class and demonstrate the content, characters and theoretical basis.From the questionnaire, the author discovered that Chinese teaching in small-scaled class is still following the tradition teaching methods and that it hasn't appeared any advantages. Therefore, the author did some experiments about teaching plans, classroom teaching, homework assignments and teaching examines. Among them, teaching plans of Chinese teaching in small-scaled class focus on preparing for the materials, for the students, for the organization, for supplementary materials and teaching aids. Classroom teaching of Chinese teaching in small-scaled class draws attention to studies in cooperation and teaching in different levels. Homework assignments of Chinese teaching in small-scaled class should be diversified in form, different in levels and mixed with other subjects. Teaching examines of Chinese teaching in small-scaled class emphasize on the plural patterns of examine materials, different levels of examine standards and the varieties of examine styles.After the experiment for 1 year, the author has summed up the experiment function advantage: the students' Chinese accomplishment is greatly improved, student-center position has been outstanding, the students' association ability can be cultivated , the students' individual latent energy can be bring into play. At the same time, the author also give some suggestions about how to choose the teaching materials for Chinese teaching in small-scaled class.
