Higher education in a popular style promotes higher vocational education. There have been70 higher vocational education colleges in Jiangsu Province until 2006. It is easy to seethat higher vocational education has been an important part of higher education and isresponsible for fostering the special talents, who have good mental health andnoble-minded moral. These talents will play an important role in the front line ofproduction, management, technique and service. However, there are many problems in thedeveloping process of higher education, such as problems of administration, recruitment,teaching reform, the quality of teachers, student employment and so on. The mosttroublesome problem is that the talents' quantity; quality and structure cannot meet theneed of society. Higher vocational education has the same subjects, train mode as highereducation, and there is no obvious difference between them. This problem is related to thefact that higher vocational education college has no suitable teachers with compositive andself-career-planning ability. The problem popped out in vocational college is illogicalstructure and instability The management of human resource has been a full-blown theoryand means in most corporations, but it is still flesh in higher vocational education colleges.As a part that makes directly connect with social economy, higher vocational education isimportant to sustainable development of human resource. We must pay attention to theimportance of human resource in the vocational education development and promote theefficiency on management of teachers. It will influence the quality of teaching, theachievement of fostered planning and the form of college feature if we can't solve theproblem about the relationship between construct of teachers team and collegedevelopment in time. Finally, the problem will restrict the sustainable development ofcollege. In this dissertation, the writer investigates the necessity of building a system ofteachers' career development and management from the view of career management, andparticularly discusses the point of teachers' career development and management in highervocational education.This dissertation introduces the different ideas of the teachers' career development in ourcountry and the other foreign countries, and analyzes the suggestion about our country'steachers' career development and management at this moment. And still discusses theimportant senses and major content of the expansion the teachers' career development andmanagement in the higher vocational education colleges. Take a higher vocationaleducation college as sample, analyses the problem and disadvantages in development and management of the higher vocational education college, and supplies the relevantsuggestions and solutions. And the author considers that the higher vocational educationcolleges should focus on the development and management of the teachers' career. Bydeveloping the quality and quantity of the teachers, to improve the core competition of acollege I hope the dissertation will give some profitable reference to human resourcepractice in higher vocational colleges.
