Freedom, people have esteemed for lots of years, it has represented humanity's highest value, the teaching freedom is the development of freedom in teaching manifestation. All of the world, the education research about the freedom question mostly is the education freedom, the liberal education and so on, but studies in teaching microscopic domain are not actually many for it. Freedom in teaching domain and teacher has the very complicated relations, it involves to the teaching innovation, the teacher career development, the school administration and so on. The paper attempts by the summary former freedom research foundation and reality's teaching question to discussion the teaching freedom, it can provide good beneficial suggestion by the achievement of innovation value methods of the freedom.The teaching freedom was that the teacher has understood and grasped the education teaching basic rule foundation and independent for behavior condition or the teaching result, it is not only one condition, was also one kind of process, not only it is refers to the teacher the teaching right which the teaching freedom of movement in the curriculum project, the teaching implementation and so on, also included the teacher's spirit during this process to be free. In the immediately teaching practice, teaching freedom not yet obtains enough attention, the teaching freedom and quality of teaching's relation not yet aroused the interest, the teacher tired occupation, the reducing work interest, the teaching creatively to lack, the teacher career development wish to lose and so on indicates to the existence importance of the teaching freedom. teaching freedom's important value, display in the following aspect: It is the teaching activity essence requests, the teaching activity's complexity requests the teacher to have the solid specialized foundation and nimble fast strain capacity; Teacher ethics and the teaching innovation and so on all need the support of the teaching freedom; The teaching freedom is also the essential condition fully that the teacher realizes the independentTeaching freedom is not infinite as the same as the freedom, it has a "limit", the teaching freedom "limit" with the country, the school, the teacher quality and so on each kind of limiting factor is closely related. Finally, we discuss the relation of the teaching freedom and the teacher specialization, teacher's specialized development has provided the advantage for teaching freedom. without the external environment influence, the teaching freedom is mainly affected by the teacher's independent. The teaching freedom is the foundation of teacher specialization and the teacher specialization is helpful to the realization of teaching freedom.
