With the development of higher vocational education recent years, the scales and conditions of running-school of many vocational colleges have been greatly improved. The vigorous development of information systems can accelerate the improvement of the higher vocational education itself, but the information system for vocational colleges is still new. There are many things we can learn in the process of development. How to avoid the roundabout ways and how to cope with the negative factors actively, give full play to our own advantages, and how to improve the teaching qualities are the problems we should consider in the construction of information systems. In order to adapt to new circumstance, Hunan Vocational College of Commerce has taken up the construction of information system since 2000 and realized the informatization of teaching, management and resources step by step. In the process of building information system, some achievements have been gained and also some problems have been found. Now the college is enlarging the scale, improving the teaching quality and enhancing overall competitive competence, the construction of information system is of great importance under such circumstances.Combining the practical situation of Hunan vocational college of commerce, this thesis examines numbers of detailed practical suggestions for the reference of the formation of college information system. These suggestions are raised by author with the knowledge learned for the master's degree in Central South University through many methods like field surveys, document research, questionnaires, combining theory with practice. It thoroughly and objectively reflects the current situation in constriction and application of the Hunan vocational college of commerce, discovers problems, analyzes causes and find solutions.At the beginning of this thesis, author confirms the concept of the informatization construction in higher vocational education, analyzes the current situation of the informatization construction and research of both inside and outside of the country, unscrambles the current status and problems of the construction of information system in Hunan Vocational College of Commerce from many aspects like funds, infranstruction, resource construction, IT ability.By studying the researches, the author raises some solutions like transferring views, exploring sources and enhancing the combination of the informatization construction and higher vocational education.Based on the practical situation of the college, the author also tables some detailed practical proposals like introducing CIO system, setting up the information resources base, intensifying the construction of college elaborate courses and enhancing the security management.
