Based on the current language teaching and present learning situation of Chinese in vocational high schools , under the guidance of humanism and the new curriculum standards, the essay is about the essential target of humanism reform on Chinese teaching material in theory and practice and about the approach of constructing humanistic teaching material.After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the present textbooks in the sense of humanism, we find that it not only helps the students learn Chinese well, but also benefits the teachers who use the textbooks. Thus, the textbooks are required to reflect humanism, be close to students' life, be able to present the students' sensible outlook on life and world and harmonize the relationship between teachers, students and textbooks. The following is the illustration of the functions of the textbooks.Eventually we discuss the strategies , principles , concepts and approaches about the textbooks in detail. After analyzing the current situation of vocational high school language teaching, we should recover its unique features and deal with how to construct the self-development of the language of teaching materials to enhance the quality of the language problems.
