In an era of information, the rapid development of knowledge economy and a global information internet forces information literacy an essential part of contemporary education. Education of all grades has to involve information literacy to help people in their life-long knowledge growth.High education of adults is an important part of the high education. The adult students are people who are working in multifarious social units and whose information literacy may have a direct influence on their work efficiency. Besides, the students' information literacy ensures the realization of life-long education and the achievements of adult high education. Naturally, the improvement of information literacy among the adult students is an important part of adult high education.Focusing on information literacy of adult students in adult high education, with document research, questionnaire, conversation, deduction and induction, this thesis defines the concept of information literacy and then investigates into the present conditions of information literacy among adult students. The investigation result is analyzed, its formation and its features summarized which is followed by some practical strategies to cope with the problems.
