Urban Female Primary Backbone Teachers' Career Development Management Studies

Female backbone teachers are the main power in the city primary school teachers' team, and play a major role in the school education and teaching, so the school usually pay great attention to selection and training of backbone teachers. However, the school lack the inspiring mechanism for backbone teachers, so that they can't continue to grow up on the foundation of the former working experience and career achievement.This thesis conducted research from the views of school management of teachers career development and gender research, used document analysis, questionnaire survey and interview survey to carry out a systematical and fruitful analysis about the features of career development and school management strategies about the further development of female backbone teachers. The author came to conclusions as follows:1. The limiting elements of career development about female backbone teachers of the city primary schools: individual factors, school factors, family factors and social factors.2. The career development stage about female backbone teachers of the city primary schools: stage of becoming backbone teachers, stage of stabilization, stage of advancement, stage of decelerating.3. The strategies of career development management about female backbone teachers of the city primary schools: the management measures adopted should vary according to different development stage, effective school management system for career development should be set up, school should help female backbone teachers design career development planning, teachers development path in the school should be set.
