In the current of curriculum reform , India can't be ignored .After several unsuccessful education reforms ,India started the new curriculum reform in 2005 in correspond with the current of all the word. The reform conducted series of reforms in curriculum content, evaluation , administration and implementation in order to modernize the primary and secondary education.On the reform of curriculum content, The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) of India wrote the new teaching materials , deleted some learning contents and made them close to ordinary life of students. In addition to this, the emphasis on ethnic cultural is characteristic of the reform. On the reform of curriculum evaluation, renew ideas of evaluation, change the disadvantages of practice of evaluate; spread the objects of evaluation and make evaluation patterns become flexible and diverse. On the reform of curriculum administration, they base reform on India condition , at region level to go to diversity ; at nation level is to maintain unity to ensure the quality of national education. On the reform of curriculum implementation , conducted many teacher trainings and compiled new teaching materials positively , make the curriculum reform composite and systemic and make the new reform ideas put into effect.The diversity of India languages is rare in the word , her policy of language education is particular. In the reform, India revised her three-language formula, inherit the sprite of multilingual, upgrade the place of mother language. In the teaching materials compiling and classroom teaching ,they make mother tongue, English, Hindi and other languages promote mutually in order to bring up students' multilingual capability.The India's fundamental education has existing many problems, but India Government had a firm determination to develop it. On the basis of increasing input, they deepened reform ,get rid of systemic and ideological barriers and absorb many of the world's advanced educational concepts. These measures make India's fundamental education has great vitality .It can be said India's fundamental education are moving on the road of modernization, this reform is proof.China's eighth curriculum reform is unfolding. Learning another countries' curriculum experiences and grasp curriculum develop trends of the world are compulsory work for us .Any country's curriculum reform is not easy, we must always trying to adjust in practice. Another countries can bring inspiration to us and make us to self-reflect and self-evaluate. India's curriculum reform give us some enlightenments such as people-orientation, expansion of the national character ,value education and so on .
