Since the 1990s, school-based training began quietly rising in our country. In 2001 China began a new round of the basic education curriculum reform, school-based training is attracting widespread attention in the primary and secondary schools. The full implementation of the quality education is the basis of China's top priority on the education front, the implementation of the quality educational needs high-quality teachers, so how to strengthen teachers training and improve the quality of the teachers is the objective requirements of the full implementation of quality education. At present, the schools has the authority and obligation of training the in-service teachers, so that the training could be based on the development of the school and centered around teacher professional development, so the school-based training has become a best "position" to promote the development of the new curriculum and be able to realize the professionalism of teachers growth.In recent years, many people have done a lot of research on school-based training, and made a lot of results. Making a general observation of these studies, they mainly focused on the concept of school-based training, its development, theoretical basis, characteristics, objectives, principles and safeguards and so on. However, how to make a appropriate teacher training model which should fit the practical needs of teacher development is in urgent need of discussion and concern. How to turn the demand of teachers into actual operation, how to make it more productive and have school characteristics have become the focus of school-based training. Against the above background, this paper founded on the complete survey of school-based training of The Primary School Attached to Shandong Normal University, it find out the problems, analysis and explore it, compare and learn from the success of school-based training at home and abroad, try to make some constructive suggestions on how to carry out a better School-based training, and I hope it could be helpful to further improving the school-based training, to raise the level of professionalism of teachers, to achieve better and faster development of schools . The following thesis includes four parts:Part I is the "Foreword". There are five parts:"issues raised","the connotation and characteristic of the school-based training","literature review","purpose and significance" and"studying method".Part II is the survey and statistics of the school-based training in primary schools.This part studied The Primary School Attached to Shandong Normal University-based training. First of all, it explains how to design the investigation, then expounds the process of the investigation and finally is the analysis and statistics of survey results.Part III is the analysis of the causes of the problem in school-based training in primary schools. This part finds out the main problems in the current school-based training in primary schools which comes out from the survey result of The Primary School Attached to Shandong Normal University -based training and analyses the reason of the main problems.Part IV is the suggestion for school-based training in primary schools. The last part of the paper raised some constructive suggestions on how to carry out school-based training better according to the key problem and causes of The Primary School Attached to Shandong Normal University -based training and the success of school-based training at home and abroad, that is the plan in line with the development and the actual needs of schools and teachers of school-based training; trainings targeted at different levels and different development training needs; flexible forms , innovative and optimize school-based training mode; enhance the evaluation of school-based training to incentive ,to ensure the efficient operation of the school-based training.
