| Commitment is one of the important factors that affect one's vocational development,foreign researches show that commitment can raise employees' morale and favorable occupational commitment can effectively boost one's vocational development.Young college teachers,As important component and fresh blood of college teaching staff,their vocational development Can not be separated from commitment.Using interview and open questionnaire,referring to the past related questionnaire,This thesis make use of a new questionnaire on vocational commitment of Young college teachers.It takes 300 youn college teachers as formal samples and conducts researches on the framework,reliability and effectiveness of this vocational commitment questionnaire.Through such statistical methods as variance analysis,correlation analysis and factor analysis,the results showed that:(1)The vocational commitment of Chongqing's Young college teachers includes norm commitment,ideal commitment,emotional commitment,opportunity commitment and continuance commitment;(2) The vocational commitment of Chongqing's Young college teachers exhibit following characteristics:the norm commitment in Vocational schools subordinated to universities is significantly lower than that in ordinary vocational colleges and independent colleges,in independent colleges female teachers lower than males,and 20-25-year-old young teachers significantly lower than young teachers at other age; the ideal commitment of teachers with 5-7-year working experience is higher than that of teachers with otherwise length of service;the emotional commitment of male teachers is lower than that of female teachers,and those with Intermediate Title lower than those with elementary title;the opportunity commitment of females is lower than that of males;the continuance commitment of administrative staff is lower than that of teaching staff,and single lower than married.Because of the limited practical conditions and lack of researching experience, some aspects of this thesis such as revision of questionnaire,selection of samples, interpretation of results and deepening research have certain limitations and are still open to improvement. |
