The higher vocational education of our nation has took up a half of our national higher education, and the higher vocational college promoted from the secondary vocational school have been the recruit of higher vocational education. The specialty to educate talents by higher vocational education puts forward higher requirements for teachers in higher vocational college. However, considering with the higher vocational education promoted from the secondary vocational school, the academic level of teachers is a little lower, most of teachers have no teaching experience in higher college, and the graduates (or postgraduates) employed right now have a lot of deficiencies in the teaching basis and practicing experience, all of which affect the quality of training talents and the forming of undertaking character directly. For promoting the training to teacher in higher vocational college, the book discusses and researches on the main topic of training teachers in higher vocational college promoted from the secondary vocational school. Through referring to documents, investigating and researching several cases, visiting comparison and such like this kind of methods, it analyzes the actualities of part of higher vocational colleges teaching staff in Hunan Province systematically, and introduces the subjective of training the higher vocational college teachers, to promote the quality of higher vocational educational teachers and build the teaching staff of "Dual Functional Teachers", by entering on the necessary to train the higher vocational college teachers and according the requirements to build the higher vocational college teaching staff of Ministry of Education Hunan Province. It also makes the connotation of professional qualities of higher vocational college teachers clear and the understanding of "Dual Functional Teachers" clear to higher vocational college, researches the strategy and the main method to train the higher vocational college teachers, and builds a method to promote the development of higher vocational college teachers' profession by learning from the advanced experiences of foreign higher vocational college teachers' training. This research not only has the actual significance but also is able to lead the training work for correspondent vocational college.
