Since 2001, China began a new round of basic education curriculum reform. The development of students is placed in an important position and the new concept of course concerns about the uniqueness of students, which requires teaching to pay more attention to the needs of each student. This article is under the guidance of the concept of the"student-oriented" and conduct in-depth investigation and analysis of the high school chemistry learning needs and advise some teaching operational countermeasures.There are two parts in the article. Firstly a questionnaire survey is conducted to some students from Beijing and Shanghai. In the course of the preparation of the questionnaire,students were interviewed through the network and the class. After the release and recovery of the questionnaire,interviews of individual students were adopted in order to understand the reasons for their choice and true answer to the idea.Carefully statistical analysis based on questionnaire results were made to get the conclusion of the investigation and the sub-levels of understanding of student chemical learning needs. On this basis, it turns to the second part of the study, that is, teachers'countermeasures. Some advice are given to teachers to change teaching strategies through the in-depth analysis of the learning needs of students.In this study, a survey is taken by document retrievals, questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaire survey is taken by 188 high school students from five high schools in Beijing and Shanghai. Interviews are taken to a number of secondary schools in Beijing as well as some chemistry teachers from Beijing and shanghai.As the needs of students is a relatively broad scope of the study, so this study will mainly focus on certain aspects of students needs, that is, the attitude of the students chemistry learning, the situation of their needs are met, the analysis of their needs of the types of chemistry lessons, the analysis of their needs of the experiment, the analysis of their needs of the knowledge teaching, the analysis of their needs of the skills and methods training, the analysis of their needs of the values and the emotional attitude training, the analysis of their needs of the teachers'strategies. on the basis of summing up the results of the research,some teaching stratergies of meeting student learning needs are advised. These countermeasures include: an appropriate increase in the proportion of students experiment, focusing on life-oriented, using a variety of means to alleviate the memory burden on students, concerning about the students learning process and emotional experience, respecting for students right to choose.
