Zhengzhou City Secondary School Teachers Mental Health And Occupational Stress, Social Support

Mental health is the foundation of people's work,study and lives.And it plays an important role in a person's all-round development.And also,a teacher's psychological health is not only the reflect of his psychological quality but also the basic guarantee of his teaching ability.As the education for all-round development goes deeper,the appealing for teachers to have healthy psychological quality is stronger and stronger.Only when a teacher has healthy psychology can he foster high-quality talents.So at this point,teachers' psychological health decides the success of current education.The research inquires into the mental health state of the middle school teachers and the influential factors according to the questionnaire of the SCL-90 clinical symptoms,the occupational pressure of middle school teachers and the social support, which tests 462 teachers in to 12 middle schools.The results show that the mental health state level of the middle school teachers is below that of the national adults,and the physical symptoms,depression and compulsion are the main mental problems faced by the middle school teachers;the main sources of pressure confronting the middle school teachers include the load of work,the pressure of examination the expectation of occupation and;the mental health state of the middle school teachers is notably related to their occupational pressure and the social support; the mental health state of the middle school teachers,the senior middle school teachers and the male teachers is respectively superior to that of the key middle school teachers,the junior middle school teachers and the female teachers;which the factor of age does not make much difference to middle school teachers.The results show that the mental health state level of the teachers in charge of classes does not make much difference the teachers not in change of classes.There was a close relation between social suppor and psychologicalhealth.
