In this paper, from the point of view of promoting the development and application of ICT in education in rural primary and secondary schools, based on the survey of application of ICT in education in some rural primary and secondary schools in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu province, the author selects Shangdang Middle School which is located on the old revolutionary area, Maoshan, as a case, and analyzes the application of ICT in education of this school deeply,and summarizes the experience and achievement of application of ICT in education, and then the author puts forward some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions about those problems that have existed in the application of ICT in education.The author structures the evaluating indicator system of ICT in education in rural primary and secondary schools on the basis of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) by combining the assessment of ICT in education in advanced schools of Zhenjiang in Jiangsu Province and referring to the assessment of ICT in education in other areas in China at the same time. And the author analyzes the result of evaluation of the relative case and further validates its scientific, reasonable and feasible for reference for decision-making departments.
