Communication is necessary for the existence of an organization.An effective communication between principals and teachers is beneficial to unite teachers,reduce the potential conflict between them,resolve problems,encourage the morale of teachers and enhance the beliefs in dedication to education of teachers.Communication satisfaction refers to the individual's degree of satisfaction towards all aspects of organization.The research of teachers' communication satisfaction is significant to measure the quality of organizational communication and reduce the pressure of their work.Teachers' communication satisfaction in schools means the degree of a teacher' communication satisfaction with the principal,including the school vision,school integration,media quality,personal feedback,supervisory communication,subordinate communication,informal communication and communication climate.Firstly,this present paper generalizes the present situation of communication between teachers and principals in primary and secondary schools.Secondly,it examines the present situation of teachers' communication satisfaction by questionnaire.Through questionnaires and interviews,it reveals that the degree of China's teachers' communication satisfaction in public primary and secondary school is in the medium range.In addition,satisfaction communication of teachers reflects some problems such as,the deficiency of some information and content;the low-rate initiative and democracy of principals in communication;the lack of informal communication between teachers and principals.Through the analysis of the problems in communication theory and the theory of leader-member exchanges,we can find that the reasons of the problems are followings:the influence of the communication channel in school,the low quality of LMX between the teachers and principals and the low degree of openness of communication in the school.Based on the analysis,the paper puts forwards some strategies to improve the teachers' communication satisfaction in primary and secondary school,such as to enrich and establish perfect communication channel in school,to establish the high quality LMX relationship between teachers and their principals and to create the communication climate of trust,support and participation.
