This thesis focuses on the investigation and analysis of the status of the music study, considering the background of New Course Reform.According to the case study and analysis,the author found great change and development of the music education of senior middle school after the New Course Reform carried out.Based on the deep study,research and teaching practice,this thesis presents a series of teaching strategy, methods and some suggestions to evaluation of the music education of senior middle school.The researches of the thesis also want to bring a new idea to the music teachers in the senior middle school.Although the current music education has obtained great development along with the New Course Reform,the difficulty still exists because there are a lot of differences among the schools,teachers,students and teaching material.As a teacher of music education,he/she must attach great importance on the investigations and analysis of the needs of the students,the characteristic of himself/herself and the school,only based on the good practical investigations and good analysis,the teaching methods and strategy could be effective and be called good ways of music education.
