"Core competence" is raised over the past few years a new concept. First is the "enterprise's core competitiveness," for studying enterprise's Competitive Intelligence. Later, it appeared in "National Core Competence" and so on. With China's accession to the WTO and increasing competition between colleges and universities, "core competence" theory began to be introduced into the field of higher education, a college core competitiveness of the emerging boom.College core competitiveness refers to a long-established colleges and universities that will enable colleges and universities in the competition to maintain sustainable development, the establishment of colleges and universities based on strategic resource acquisition, creation, integration of resources unique capabilities. Therefore, researching the core competitiveness of colleges and universities is extremely important for improving colleges and universities in a competitive environment of the dominant position. This article will explore the foreign language category of institutions devoted to the core of competitiveness.The research contents and creative points are as follows:First, I have analyzed the concept of core competence, the existing research model, institutions of higher learning the meaning of the core competitiveness, the essential feature, and the introduction of foreign language colleges the connotation of the core competitiveness and features in this paper .Secondly, the thesis determined the weights of indicators at all levels with the Analytic Hierarchy Process.Built a complex multi-level evaluation index system of foreign language colleges'core competitiveness, and ultimately set up a foreign language college's generic core competitiveness evaluation model.Third, this paper has chosen the College T as a specific study.By the use of foreign language colleges'generic core competitiveness evaluation model, it came to T's strengths and weaknesses compared with its competitors, to find where it core competitiveness.Fourth, this paper set up a college T's competitive intelligence system, discussed how to enhance T's the core competitiveness and its future development direction of school.Came to the conclusion that the following conclusions: College T's material resources and the situation of school leaders in such indicators as the first of three colleges and universities as well as the current T and University Colleges and Universities Colleges S compared to B and the core competitiveness of the host. The advantages of disciplines, students and graduates, the results of scientific research, research, leadership and campus culture in colleges and universities, such as indicators of T are at a disadvantage.Through research, recommends that colleges and universities in the establishment of T Competitive Intelligence System based on enrollment can be achieved by improving quality, strengthening the knowledge management system to ensure that teachers and students to use force, such as self-study to enhance their core competitiveness.
