The practical effect of education and the exertion of the teachers' ability have a close relation.Especially for very young children who is plastic,interaction with the teacher will play a crucial role.Therefore, the continuing education for early childhood education and a reasonable and appropriate training is clearly an integral component. This paper introduces the status of South Korea's early childhood education and continuing education.South Korea has a systematic training institutions.Public and private continuing education are complementary.In general,the training institutions of preschool education are comperhensive universities and junior colleges.Teachers who received four-year education on early childhood education or related professional disciplines can be given the second class kindergarten teacher's qualification. In addition, who has been received credits on childcare and faculty can be given the second class kindergarten teacher's qualification. So are the persons who have master's degree and graduated from Graduate School of Education or Postgraduate Colleges which are assigned by Education and Human Resources Executive.So far, the Promotion System of Kindergarten is the second class to the first class, and the first class to the vice-principal,then to the principal.Continuing education gets the staff hired after kindergarten Teacher education as the main object and in order to obtain the professional improvement and access to higher qualification obligations.lt refers to the obligational education activities.The specific types of continuing education training are the qualification training, business training, general training. And the specific training methods for teachers are voluntarily training, training leading by pre-school institutions and government, and training leading by higher education and Training institutions.In this paper, through literature methods and investigation, I learned kindergarten teachers' expectations for continuing education: At first, we should change the currently supplier centered education system, build a demand-centric research system. Second, we need to change the status which regard the written examination as the most important way. Multi-dimensional and diversified training is the best solution to improve the qualification level of training.Third, we should increase depth and breadth of the training content of childhood qualification education.Fourth, to activate the Distance Education teaching methods for solving the manpower shortage problem.Fifth, organizeing more study and discuss lessons.Sixth, taking into account the individual characteristics, develop a more relatively specific training depending on different personality.Seventh, to ensure the rich variety of teaching methods.Eighth, we have to meet the pace of the diversified-development information times to supplement and compensate for foreign languages (Chinese, English), computers and other self-cultivation homework.
