Since the reform and open policy, a large number of migrant farmers came into the cities, Which formed a society in transition, a large and special social groups-migrant farmers. Today we talked about daily in the Context of "migrant workers" when the mind is not just a profession, but also a social hierarchy, a status or quasi-identity, a living state, a community organization as well as community, a cultural and even psychological structure model (Qin Hui,2002). These migrant farmers working for the carrier status of a contradiction, but also has the flow characteristics, urban-rural difference in social mirror turn on them frequently, leading to their identity to generate a great deal of difference, according to the Pearl River Delta in 2006 large-scale survey of migrant workers, in 3975 migrant workers interviewed, there are 734 people who did not think that they are not farmers,755 people thought that it is difficult to define. In other words, nearly 40% of migrant workers interviewed did not confirm their identity prior farmers. What are the factors lead to this phenomenon? Quantitative study of the past, mainly from the "urban experience", "Local Memory", "city expects," Analysis of the three dimensions.
