Based on our empirical study with national social survey data(CGSS2003), this paper finds that the parents who have more income, more human capital and more political capital are more likely to new year to school teachers, and in turn New Year network increases the chance of choosing school for their children. This paper shows that families can enhance the capacity of grabbing resources by social network investment and intergenerational transformation from social capital to human capital, thus reducing intergenerational mobility. It is a conclusion contained some important public policy implication that the investment on parents's social capital can positively affect the accumulation of their children's human capital. Through the non-market mechanism that parents'social capital affects their children's shool choice, the superiority of parents'socio-economic status can transform into their children's abundant human capital, and into the superiority of their children's socio-economic status ultimately. Based on the fact that parents'social capital affects their children's school choice, we make a proposal such as the educational voucher system to avoid the shortcoming of the school choice.
