Problem is the beginning of thinking,the soul of innovation. One who possesses innovation ability must be provided with problem awareness. Insisting on the development of vocational education with great efforts, fostering high-qualified labourers, cultivating secondary vocational school students'problem awareness is very senseful in realism.Chemistry is an important basic subject in secondary vocational school. It makes students have necessary basic knowledge and ability for lifelong study, and professional skill and excellent comprehensive quality to meet the market need. In contrast to our teaching, educational idea, teaching model and teaching content do not need the pluralism of vocational education, and restrict the development of students'individuality and the enhancement of their innovative ability, thus students lack of problem awareness, and has had a serious effect on vocational education target.Absorbing and drawing on the results of previous studies, revealing the connotation of problem awareness, taking modern pedagogy and psychology as the theoretic basis, based on chemistry teaching of secondary vocational school, this thesis takes questionnaire to search problem awareness of secondary vocational school students. With the result of questionnaire, the thesis deeply analyzes the reason of problem awareness of secondary vocational school students, mainly including students'factor, teachers'factor, teaching materials factor and other social factors. According to factors, it provides detail strategies on cultivating problem awareness of secondary vocational school students: changing educational idea, cultivating problem awareness of secondary vocational school students; stimulating students'learning motivation, craving for knowledge; knowing the importance of problem, stimulating problem awareness; constructing harmonious teaching ; designing problem situations; teachers'guiding and demonstration; encouraging students to ask questions; dealing with students'questions, etc. Teaching practice based on these strategies. After half-year study, the experiment proves that it has obvious results on cultivating students'problem awareness. It make students get higher scores, raise quality and quantity of asking questions and confidence and courage of asking questions, stimulate learning enthusiasm and initiative and problem awareness. Students actively think questions, and solve them.The study on cultivating students'problem awareness in chemistry teaching of secondary vocational school is mainly on strategies of students'problem awareness. The fundamental aim of study is to foster student-oriented and student development-oriented idea, student-centered idea and problem-centered idea, to let student become the leader of study.
