To find a new way to solve the problem that there is little efficiency in writing teaching, the author intends to make some deep research from data studies, questionnaire serveys and interview techniques. The author believes that life is the foundation ,gist and end-result of writing teaching. The current writing teaching is formalized, simplified, abstracted and contextualization. It deeply separated from the students'lives even forget the students'world. They have poor ideas about writing,"human"is separated from"culture".In review of this, the author advocates that writing teaching should and must return to life. It should reflect and express the whole life. The teachers should put the cardinal trait of life in teaching to renovate the breakdown between writing teaching and life. The thesis includes four chapters:Chapter I. The perspective between writing teaching and life. This chapter has a sort of three main points on the relationship between teaching and life, which are"teaching is prepare for life","teaching is life"and"life is teaching". It also has a review of the history of writing teaching. It intends to find out the inner link between writing teaching and life from a historical point.Chapter II. The theoretical analysis between writing teaching and life. The fundamental research is conducted from three aspects: students'psychological needs of writing; the nature of students'writing; the form mechanism of students'writing ability.Chapter III. The inspection of writing teaching problems in the view of life. The author investigate the situation of writing teaching on the foundation of class observation, questionnaire survey and individual interview, find out the problems and exam them from the perspective of life, analyze the causes and find the crux of inefficiency. And then we can recommend the basic idea"return to life".Chapter IV. The implementation strategy of"return to life". This chapter bases on"writing teaching return to life". We do a research from writing source, proposition, instructions, check and commentation. The author intends to get more valuable ideas to cause other teachers'wide-spread thinking about"return to life"and the further inquisition about this subject.
