Time is currently in the knowledge economy, the building of corporate culture plays an increasing role in business development and business performance. Also its functions to build up the interior agglomeration and enhance the exterior competence are getting more and more concerns. Corporate culture is an important strategic resource of enterprises, which may determine the selection of enterprise's strategy. The key to study corporate culture is to highlight the enterprises' inherent value concept, combine with the surviving and development environment of the enterprise, estimate culture's compatibility to business strategy so as to improve the adjustment and integration of corporate culture and strategic development goal, promote the effective implementation of the business strategy, and finally make the enterprises on the way to sustainable development.China Shougang Group, with a history of more than 80 years, is a large-scale multi-industry, transnational state-owned enterprise group, mainly engaged in steel and iron production. As one of the largest state-owned enterprise group in China, Shougang Group has formed its own characteristic corporate culture in the long-term developing process. In the period of economical globalization, the furious competition in overseas and domestic steel and iron industry, as well as the implementation of current relocation work, all bring the huge challenge to Shougang's development. In other words, Shougang is now being in an essential period of strategic transition and strategic adjustment. Then, whether its present corporate culture is consistent with its developmental strategy? This is the question that this article needs to solve.
