Multinational's Supply Chain Management

With the new rule for competition and the development of global industrialization, Supply chain management becomes the center of competition as well as the third source of corporate profit.This article introduces the complete knowledge of Supply chain management: the concept, the Supply chain operations reference-model, the goal of Supply chain management and the Evaluation KPI.The third part of article analyzes the current situation of PALL to find the problem in supply chain management. First, presents us the parallel flow of goods and vertical line of organization structure. Then defines the present operations situation in purchasing, planning, transportation and warehouse, and the information management. The result of study shows us the operation performance of supply chain management in PALL.Based on the knowledge and the analysis, this article presents a solution to improve the performance of supply chain management in PALL. To build and organize a perfect and smooth Supply chain through the ways of setting up the stratagem, establishing the evaluation and inspirit mechanism and re-designing the organization instruction, Classifying the suppliers and updating the purchasing process and evaluation KPI, improving the accuracy of forecast, managing the transportation and warehouse effectively and broadening the information system to improve the operation performance.Hope that this article can bring PALL some good idea to improve the supply chain management.
