This paper is aimed at conducting an in-depth research on the human resources management of retail chain companies in the trousers industry in China. Through elaborating the background, the development course, the present situation of the trousers industry and the transformation factors of Chinese trousers producing enterprises, this paper also analyzes opportunities, challenges, and the competition environment of the trousers industry in China. Having touched upon the feasibility and the inevitability of branding, specializing, and large-scale manufacturing tailored for the trousers retail chains in the trousers industry in China, the author did a detailed analysis and exploration on the current competitive status and the competitive advantages of the Future Speed Trousers Company in the trousers industry in China by utilizing the Five-forces Model advocated by Professor Porter of the Harvard Business School.The paper mainly is composed of seven parts.In the first chapter of this paper, the author provides an outline on the Chinese trousers industry.The second chapter primarily involves the retailing business of the Chinese trousers industry. Based on the analysis of the competitive natures and conditions of the trousers industry by using the Five-forces Model mentioned above, the author elaborated the Future Speed Trousers Company in terms of its competitive status in the trousers industry.The third chapter is based on the discussion of human resources management issues of those retail chain stores within the trousers industry. The author proposes a framework for the human resources plan of the retail chain stores in the trousers industry in conformity with the special requirements for the trousers industry human resources.In the fourth chapter, the author mainly deals with the organizational structure and the internal processes such as job classification of the Future Speed Trousers Company as well as the personnel allocation of retail chain stores.The fifth chapter focuses on the enrollment including the form, channel, and testing method, and the selection , as well as the orientation education and management of new employees of the Future Speed Trousers Company.The sixth chapter depicts the performance appraisal, wages and salary, and the motivation mechanisms of Future Speed Trousers Company.In the seventh chapter, the author emphatically discusses the employee training and career planning of the Future Speed Trousers Company.On basis of elaborating and discussing human resources management of the retail chain stores in the trousers industry in China, this paper emphasizes on reducing the perceived value disparity and actual value conflict as well as the new efficiency concept by value mutual recognition and creation of wealth by knowledge sharing.
