Regional economic integration is the inexorable law of economic development; the achievement of it is based on transport integration as the most important condition. In the 21th century, a period of social and economic developing rapidly, all sectors had made remarkable achievements: regional transportation system improved further; transportation network construction scale expanded rapidly. All of this alleviates effectively the bottleneck of constraint transportation for long time. However, along with the regional economic integration process, more urgent requirements to the construction of regional transport integration arise. Currently, planning and realizing the regional transportation integration has become a major historic task to transport management departments. Integration of regional transport resources, establishment of an efficient integrated transport system, and achievement of transport integration is demand and hot topic of regional transportation development.This thesis bases on the related research of home and abroad, explains the related concepts of the integration of regional transportation integration, puts forward theoretical basis systematically and firstly, including the development theory of the regional transport integration, division of labor, hierarchy and stage, collaborative balanced and other related theories. At the same time, it also analyzes the internal and external dynamic mechanism of regional transportation integration, provides theoretical support for research. It further onwards proposes the overall goal of integration basing on the impact of integration to regional, brings forth integrated mode Building program basing on the processes and ideas of integration mode building. Finally, it grades of the effective evaluation of integration to regional transport planning, building the evaluation index system of the effective of integrated planning, and establishes the assessment model of the effective of integrated planning basing on the basic principles of Matter-element analysis, validates the feasibility and practicality of the model, and provides support to scientific evaluation methods of the integration to regional transport planning taking advantage of the city group of CHANGSHA-ZHUZHOU- XIANGTAN as an example,Currently, most of the researches of integrated regional transport resources--no matter domestic or international--focus to single transportation mode, or integration of two transport modes, but less deal with regional integrated transport resources. In this thesis, by putting forward theoretical basis firstly, basing on idea of integration mode building, the author proposes integrated mode building program, and establishes the assessment model of the effective of integrated planning, thus forming a more complete theory and technology system of the integration regional transportation planning. This thesis is of great theoretical and practical significance.
