Phuket, Thailand Chinese Teaching Survey Report

Phuket is one of the most popular tourist provinces in Thailand, there are a lot of foreigners both Western and Asian investors come to do businesses and travel year after year. As Thailand is located at Southeast Asia; therefore, Southeast Asians are more likely to visit, do business and traveling in Phuket, for instance, Chinese, Taiwanese, Malaysians and Singaporeans. Also, these countries are all use Chinese for communication.Besides, Thai Government also supports Chinese language, and promotes Chinese as a third language for teaching and studying. Phuket education department started launching Chinese program in accordance with the government policies, this let Thai students have a good opportunity to study Chinese and will be useful for find jobs in related field. I am as a writer who was born in Phuket and has learnt Chinese in China, in order to become a good teacher and able to develop Chinese learning in my hometown after graduation, I basically need to really understand Chinese Learning in Phuket.This thesis has been researched overall about Chinese Learning of current situation as well as teaching policy of Phuket schools where has Chinese course provided, including the total number of Chinese teachers and students, the purpose of the students who come to study Chinese, as well as, process of teaching. Besides, this thesis also has further researched on the existing Chinese teaching problems in Phuket and the suggestions for problem solving.I as a writer hope that this thesis will be useful to all of new Chinese teachers, as well as, the persons who may concern.
