No matter what kind of the teaching process is, the knowledge and skills will contain information from the source to the destination of the transfer process. The process of transferring knowledge and information is to go through "coding" and "selecting channel". The students receiving information is to go through the "decoding" link. In the classroom of teaching Chinese as foreign language, source coding occupies a large proportion of information transmission process, and the method of source coding will directly affect the effectiveness of teaching.This paper is based on the law of teaching information transmission and the characteristics of teaching Chinese as foreign language. The following areas are studied:(1)The relative theory on source coding. It concludes language coding, non-language coding and the application in the primary Chinese spoken course.(2) Evaluation index system of the effectiveness of source coding in the primary Chinese spoken course. Firstly, this study discusses the basic principles of system design, and then through the level of analysis and synthesis method, with the views of experts, it selects indicators and builds a systematic, operational evaluation index system with the appropriate number of indicators.(3)The weight of evaluation index. Evaluation index influences the final evaluation of a direct impact on the results, in order to determine the weight methods, this study includes:(a) The subjective method for determining the weigh-AHP method, (b) The objective method for determining the weight-Maximizing deviation method. Objective weight is based on the fundamental basis for decision-making data, based on the theory in a certain mathematical model.(4) Examples of the effectiveness of source coding in the primary Chinese spoken course. Based on teaching in the primary Chinese spoken course of Shandong Economic University as the background level, this study is reasonable and effective in the index system. (5) Through the empirical study in spoken course, this study points out the contradictions and weaknesses in the effectiveness of source coding in the primary Chinese spoken course, and makes relevant recommendations.
