Error Analysis(EA) is of great significance to reveal the common features of the language leaners.This thesis is a comprehensive investigation about vocabulary error analysis and learning strategies of Thai students.This paper includes six parts and structured as followed.The introduction part describes the significance of the topic and dynamic Errors Analysis theory of home and abroad and explained the research methods of this thesis.The second part discusses the error classification.Based on the actual collected materials and interviews,Errors divided into synonyms confusion,word order errors,mismatches,omissions,semantic errors, negative expression,"是'improper use of these seven error types and each error type conduct a detailed instructions.The third part mainly search for the reasons of these errors. From four parts try to explain the reasons.Negative transfer from the mother tongue,over-generalization.The fourth part investigate the strategies.From the learners point of view to design vocabulary questionnaire and discuss the Thai students' Vocabulary learning strategies' feature and shortage.The fifth part put forward to the corresponding teaching strategies of error.Mainly from four aspects,the proper use of comparative analysis of Chinese and Thai, to strengthen synonym discrimination,set a large number of targeted exercises to enhance students' awareness of learning strategies.The sixth part draws a conclusion according to the investigations and some teaching suggestions.
