On The Relations Of Village Autonomy And Religious

The country society in china is rustically, but it has been changing slowly during the casting period for the economic, political and cultural factors. The country families become the basic unit under the household contract responsibility system, the traditional situation has been changing, and the farmers confused, which catch the religions off guard. At the present time, religions become popular, and we should take more attentions to these.Chinese culture is different from that of western world. But some Chinese people abandon Chinese traditional culture and learn western system, which doesn't conform to national spirit and which is not feasible. Some scholars think that Chinese ancient culture generates a higher national spirit then western culture. And they point out that Three-power set-up in western politics aims at supervising and limiting each other. The motive thereof is mistrust. That is different in China. In China people respect each other, trust each other and treat each other with earnest. The establishment of village autonomy system must be based on Chinese national spirit and culture. Autonomy system can be various according to the local custom, economic life and so on in different places. It is necessary to set up local self- administration system according to local situations. But it is also necessary to give general standards to ensure the realization of self- administration. At present, there is little research on the relation between religion and village autonomy in China. Based on the investigation of religion in some villages in the south of Hebei province, this paper points out that religion in rural society develops naturally in its own way, separating from a managed spread of religion. And present religious activities separate from religion culture to some degree, becoming a tool to fulfill one's desires. This paper points out that religious activities must be directed and guided and that as basic autonomy units, villages should adapt to the harmony between individuals, groups and society. It is necessary to shift from a concept of individual"farmer"to a concept of"society". Village autonomy is a public democracy system in China, which takes autonomy by people, autonomy by law, Party leading as basic principles. Farmers, direct participation in the administration of public affaires in villages embodies the principle and spirit of public democracy, which is an ideal administration model in the process of national democracy. The foundation of village autonomy is guarantee of liberty, democracy, and rights, without which village autonomy system will lose its rationality and validity. Therefore, combination of democracy and autonomy rights should be strengthened and the development of religion should also be considered in the establishment of villagers'autonomy system.By analyzing the present situation of village autonomy and the development of religion, this paper researches the relationship between rural society and village autonomy and puts forward some points of view. This paper researches the problems existing in the development of religion in the south of Hebei province. Besides, the paper illustrates the influence of the increasing followers of religion to village autonomy and gives some opinions thereon, which are significant to reality. Finally the paper puts forward some suggestions on how to develop village autonomy system by analyzing the relationship between liberty of religion and changes of autonomy functions, which are important and significant to present village administration.We should understand religions have two sides: advantages and disadvantages. So we have to see to build a harmonious society is very important. This article is about how to understand religions effect the modern Chinese country, through analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of religions. And advance the democracy is so important to modern county buildings.
