Case Teaching Method Of Tourism Management

Tourism Management teaching has been to adapt to the development of socialist market economy, all colleges and universities are also actively exploring measures to improve the quality of teaching and methods. As tourism management courses have a strong practical, although the traditional mode of delivery system to facilitate teaching and learning of knowledge, but also showed a lot of problems. Therefore, innovative teaching ideas tourism management, changing teaching methods, the current tourism industry is both the urgent need for qualified personnel, but also the students the objective needs of their own development.This teaching from the university point of tourism management and based on in-depth analysis of the case teaching method,and points out that China Tourism Management Case Method of teaching used in the necessity and feasibility. In order to analyze the questionnaire, based on the factors that affect the case method ,there are a student's participation in the classroom, the teacher's behavior and attitude of the grasp of the overall teaching atmosphere and the teachers teaching time control of the case.This article focuses on the case method in tourism management implementation process, describes the basic form of case, case selection and implementation steps to make the interpretation process is to import the main case, build case scenarios, case discussion and case summary .Then this paper use concrete examples of implementation of case method to analyze the interpretation process .Implementation of after-school case method of teaching, evaluating activities of teachers and students learning activities.Finally, the author of the study on the questionnaire data, points out that the case method problems may be a student quiet, students do not adequately prepare, teachers lack the experience to lead case discussions, such as excessive number of students. Then this article analyzed the effect of the implementation of case method, the conclusions are: the expectations of students has a high degree of case method; that the case method students can improve their ability to analyze and solve problems; students compare concern themes of tourism case is the hotel management and travel management, and hope them to be true; they consider that successful use of case method requires the joint efforts of teachers and students.Through this case study of tourism management studies teaching methods, teaching activities of Tourism I hope to make some useful exploration, making the case teaching method in tourism management course to play a better role in teaching, and promoting the teaching of tourism management courses.
