In recent years, college students' employment has become a hot social topic, also be theoretical and academic research topic. The author has long been concerned college students' employment market changes and the homework which government is doing. By reading relevant literatures and practical work, he combines with the professional advantages and carries out the research. As is known to all, before western presidential election, candidates are to their campaign to improve employment as the important goal, because this is an important index of government performance evaluation. The Chinese government's significant conference in recent years, will also improve employment as the government takes work direction. In the first part, definitions, and expounds the main factors affecting employment, and puts forward the connotation of employment promotion policies. The employment policy comes from government who is policy makers and executor. Policy is including guide policy, economic policy, mandatory type policy and laws, etc. Different types of policies exists different defects, so in employment in promoting common need different types of policy implementation. In the second part, he analyses the current situation of employment policy. Summarized the policy in college students' employment from 1949 in China, the change is from unity distribution period, to the period of two-way choice. In college students' employment market, the government plays the role, from "big government, small market" transition to the "small government, large market" situation.
