Enlightenment Of Tao Xinzhi's Life Education Theory For Contemporary College Moral Education Work

Tao Xingzhi is the founder of life education theory which is the core of the whole education thought. As an important part of the life education theory, moral education thought has the important theoretical guiding significance not only in changing the current status quo that college moral education isolates from practical life, but also building life education theory system under the background of quality education. Combined with the problems that the contemporary colleges faced during the work of moral education, this dissertation has deeply expounded the education backgrounds, social backgrounds, development history and connotation of the formation of Tao Xingzhi's life education theory. Moral education thought is focused on to discuss its enlightening significance for contemporary college moral education work.From the introduction of Tao's life education theory, this paper has analyzed its backgrounds, development history and actual connotation in detail. It firstly analyzes social background and education background of Tao's life. In view of the three periods, infancy period, formation and development period and mature period this part has drawn the outline of the formation and development process. On the basis of dialectical relationship between life and moral education, Tao's life education theory is constructed from the aspects of starting point, purposes, principles, contents and ways etc. Based on this, the article has discussed the necessity of developing Tao's life education theory of the contemporary moral education in colleges and universities. From moral education organization management system, moral education target and overall moral quality of contemporary university students, this paper has elaborated the achievements of moral education work. Based on the achievements of the moral education work, the practical significance of developing Tao's life education theory of the contemporary moral education in colleges and universities has been discussed.For further discussion about the specific enlightenment and reference towards the contemporary moral education work in colleges and universities, this paper has unfolded for three aspects. First, persisted to the moral philosophy of students orientated. Second, insisted on the content of moral education must reflect real life. Third, insisted on the combination of the self education and education. When cultivating students' moral education mode and noble personality, it needs to insist on building moral education atmosphere for life and letting moral education finally return to our real life. In the period of quality education reform, we must follow Scientific Outlook on Development, people-centered education philosophy and Tao's life education theory to improve the actual effect of moral education in universities. To sum up, Tao Xingzhi's life education theory has important reference value and guidance for the construction of moral education for our universities.
