The physics is an experiment science. The physical experiment is not only the basic means which acquires sensitive material, explores physical rules and knows physical world, but also the only standard to verify physics theories. In the coarse of the emergency and development of physics, physical experiments are holding an extremely significant post and playing a tremendous role from beginning to end. Physics comes from productions, daily life and scientific experiments and therefore, observation and experiments are the primary method to study and research physics. Physical experiments and teachings are performed not only to cultivate students' abilities of observation and thinking, starting work and operation, analyzing and solving problems, and creation, but also to train their scientific attitude for seeking truth from facts, good learning customs and strong interests. Especially at present when quality education is enhanced, experiments are a main approach to implement quality education. However, it is still universal that phenomena of paying attention to theories and neglecting experiments, or attaching much weight to results and lightening courses exist in physical teaching of middle school, leading to experimental classes becoming formalistic.Great differences on the viewpoints and teaching behaviors can be found after a wide view of domestic and international physics experiment teaching. How can we find the good qualities and bad qualities of the experiment teaching in Dunhua Experimental Middle School? The author made a questionnaire and investigated the teacher's teaching situation of experiment and the students' learning situation of experiment for the reference of strengthening experiment teaching in high schools.According to the statistics of the investigating data from the above aspects of several schools, we find that Dunhua Experimental Middle School pay more attention to the experiment teaching. The laboratory instruments are suitable to the required standard, but these instruments are not often used. In fact, present physics teaching put too much premium on knowledge and theory while less attention has been paid to these procedures by which these knowledge and theory are explored and achieved. Thus, in despite of having experienced the experiment, learned the experiment operations, students still can not match their understandings of the experiment to the teaching aims. Experiments haven't aimed at their original purposes as expected. Some of the students still can not reach the requirement of physics course standard, especially the ability of investigating experiment is very poor. We can be inspired from the existing problems of the high school physics experiment teaching by contrasting national and international experimental teaching, combined with action research methods and theories, through the practice and rethink profoundly in actual teaching, we conclude some factors. It includes that reforming the teaching method of physics experiment, enriching the experiment teaching models, integrating the teaching method of physics experiment, making full use of present experimental instruments, supplementing the physics textbooks of the experiment, importing information technology in experiment and so on. The result of experiment shows that these methods are effective.
