The gathering of senior high schools leads to the situation that students live in one place while studying at a different place.Many parents have to leave where they live to the place where their children are studying to accompany them.In order to do this they have to give up their accustomed job and life,and devote a lot energy and time to their children's study.During the period,some families acquire firmer family ties while some have to face some troubles.Due to the style of living together every day,the time of the student and his accompanied parent becomes more,while the space among them gets less,so the student prefers not to be accompanied by their parent.Meanwhile,parents spend more time and money on it,yet the outcome is not pleasant.As a consequence of this,the relationship of parents and child becomes worse.Harmony parent-child relationship is very important to families and society,but it fails to attract families and society's enough attention,not to mention to try to solve the problem.So it is a challenge for families and school to improve the parent-child relationship of them,and to improve the effect of family education at the same time,and that is the aim of this paper.This article found that some families pay little attention to parent-child relationship building and their communication style is too simple through surveys and interviews.Overlapping Influences Theory points out the fact that children are influenced by their family,school and community and at the same time they are influenced in their study and development during their interaction with their family members,teachers and members in their community.The fact that teenagers are tired of studying their subjects,which results in misbehavior,is related to the family environment in which the teenagers settle.American scholar Brown said,compared to the normal adolescents,the teenagers who have misbehavior suffer from emotional disturbance,which has a close relationship with family environment.Based on family environment theory,studies show that family environment influences the parent-child relationship,and warm parent-child relationship is a proper way to fulfill the development in child's body and mind.This paper is intended to analyze the situation of the families and home-school cooperation to find the solution to the problem,which includes outdated parent-child concept,unsuitable communication methods.According to investigation,families pay not enough attention to the construction of parent-child relationship.The approach is to make sure that parents can communicate with their child in a free way to improve the child's development in body and mind by updating their education concept.Due to the related knowledge of administration,teachers can handle the problems with their own advantages by integrating family and school forces.
