Traditional ideological and political science is an instruction mode that accentuate the students to study and master knowledge passively , and this kind of instruction mode imprisoned the students'thinking to let them just accept but not take the initiative to thinking. The implementation of Ideological and Political Science curriculum standards broke this regular mode of teaching to a large extent, and began to advocate the habit of autonomous learning, like inquiry for students, make great efforts to improve the ability to analyze and solve problems .Classroom is the main position that the new teaching standards enforced .By the way of cultivating the students'autonomous learning, and creative learning ability in classroom , can we guide teaching methods reform radically,and gradually to mobilize students' innovation consciousness and subjective initiative .In the teaching of discussion, the teacher use class discussion, cooperative learning, independent thinking, and mutual form of communication to largely stimulate the study passion of the students,and make them to take the initiative to thinking , at the same time strengthen unity and mutual assistance among the students. Everything has two sides, through teaching practise we found that the teaching of discussion can promote the interaction between teachers and students, and improve the quality of teaching, and also improve student's quality. But at the same time, there are some certain drawbacks, such as the using of this kind of teaching mode is too one-sided,and machinery,and merely in a formality,.In order to enable the teaching of discussion play the real function in the classroom teaching ,this paper will analyse the current using status of it. Puts forward some concrete and feasible way to make the ideological and political science teaching reform to the correct direction.There are four parts in this paper:In the first part ,the writer outline the meaning and the theory foundation of the teaching of discussion and its information communication mode, then introduce the main discussion way of the teaching of discussion.The second part is about the necessity of using the teaching of discussion in the ideological and political science. Using it in the ideological and political science applied with senior high school students'psychological development characteristics; Meet the new requirements that the new curriculum standard proposed for the classroom teaching; Meet the content and quality of the ideological and political science's requirements.The third part , through researching the using status of instruction of discussion in teaching. to present the problems and analyze the concrete reason.The fourth part, following the principles as purpose, enlightening, varied gradations, democracy, practical, the writer put forward the feasibility method of specific application of teaching of discussion in the the ideological and political science,and problems should be paid attention to. Teaching of discussion is a kind of student-centered teaching, and the wreter hope to through the application research of teaching of discussion in the ideological and political science to have a positive effect on Ideological and Political Science teaching, improve the classroom efficiency, cultivate students'innovative thinking, and improve the students' ability to analyze and solve problems.
