With the curriculum reform, information technology, as school--based teaching and research, teachers' professional development aids, which is the gradual deepening of campus, is becoming an important tool of teaching and learning. Modern information technology in school--based teaching and research, teachers' professional development becomes the needs of the times. It is better for us to improve the quality of teaching and to change the teaching methods. It also provides us good technical support. This article is based on my school whose aim is to explore my school's development and utilization of school-based teaching and research models and teachers' professional development approach under the information technology.This article consists of five chapters. Chapter One analyses the background, the status at home and abroad, the goals and the contents, the theoretical significance and practical value, the method of research. The second chapter describes the application of some theories. Chapterâ…¢focuses on the main contents of this paper:The use and development of information technology makes the integration of disciplines; the use of multimedia in teaching greatly improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching and promote professional development of teachers. Education Research and School-based Teaching and Research columns are set up to be used in the School Web site; QQ group, micro-Bo, QQ space, Email and FTP are set up to be used in school-based teaching and research. Establish and improve electronic records management system. Make full use of IT to analyze the exams, share information and so on. Chapter Four mainly introduces the three main models:the establishment of individual self-based research model, the establishment of the teaching and research group, the establishment of the overall school-based research model. Chapter Five represents my thoughts of information technology, the school-based teaching and research, teachers' professional development in the study.While taking advantage of information technology, we carried out a variety of school-based teaching and research, built a lot of growth platform for teachers to develop quickly. More significant changes of teaching concept, new curriculum and students view occurred. Some new changes in teaching, such as equality, harmony, interaction and cooperation between the teachers and students occurred in class, which became the mainstream of class. Teachers guided students to care for life, explore issues and understand knowledge, which promoted to change the way students learn. Now we have full use of information technology at school, so our classes are becoming more colorful, full of texts, audios, graphics, images, animation, videos and other rich media information. Teaching in class is no longer single, boring. Students are easy to understand and grasp knowledge.
