| The Teaching and Research Group is the basic unit of the teaching research management system, an integration of the administration, normal teaching and research, and a comprehensive organization covering administration and academy. The work of the Teaching and Research has great influence on the school teaching and management, specially on the professional development of teachers. However, influenced by many factors, the functions of the Teaching and Research haven't been made the most use of. At the same time, the curriculum reforms in the middle schools have offered teachers some new requests--co-operation between teachers and deeply study and reflection to teaching conducts. Teacher Professional Development is gaining people's attention. In recent years, the study results of "learning-oriented organization" and "Teacher Professional Learning Community" show that the co-operation and sharing culture between teachers is good for improving working efficiency, building a harmonious interpersonal relationship and promoting the professional development of teachers. While the teaching and research group is an education and teaching organization composed of teachers, which is the closest with teachers. It is necessary to introduce the co-operation and sharing mechanism into the construction of the teaching and research group. Through this, we can create a new, democratic and open teaching and research culture, change the teaching and research group into a learning community, a practical community and a research community, and promote the professional development of teachers. Because of this, guided by the theory and practicable methods of the learning-oriented organization, this thesis puts forward a tentative idea of establishing learning-oriented teaching and research groups. Following the valuable suggestions and guidance offered by the writer's graduate teacher, taking advantage of the conditions of the writer as an in-service teacher and by the leaders and all the politics teachers in the writer's school, the thesis also sets forth the practical research on the construction of the learning-oriented politics teaching and research group.First, on the basis of the actual conditions of the politics teaching and research group, after such methods of research as investigation and interviews were used, the thesis discusses the nature of teaching and research groups as school organizations at the basic level and makes clear the role which such groups should play in the new period. Secondly, in accordance with the requirements of the in-school training and the expectations of the group teachers, the thesis probes into the distinctive features and functions of learning-oriented teaching and research groups. Thirdly, in the light of the actual conditions, starting with the form, content and mechanism of group learning, the thesis designs and plans learning activities of learning-oriented teaching and research groups. Lastly, the thesis discusses how to establish in practice a system of group learning based on rethinking, information feedback and information sharing, so as to change traditional teaching and research groups into learning-oriented ones at last.The following conclusions are drawn from over one year's theoretical and practical research on the construction of learning-oriented teaching and research groups. The practice of setting up the learning-oriented teaching and research groups offers the teachers continuous opportunities. It also improves the teaching ability to reflect and promote the teachers'development in specialty. It can improve the teaching and research system and change the teacher's task of learning concept and the concept of improving the effectiveness of teaching and research management. |
