Internet makes great changes on college students' life, learning, entertainment, and brings students the knowledge and fun, freedom and speed, but at the same time, psychological problems which was caused due to improper Internet use made people optimistic, college students inclined to Internet addiction continue to increase, students'cyber mental health status do make people worried. Although many studies have paid attention to students'Internet psychology, many analyzed students'Internet psychology from one aspect, fewer elaborated students'cyber mental health status on the whole; many concerned about the group of Internet addiction, less studied middle group that the group of Internet dependence; and many of them lacked systemic research on intervention strategies of Internet psychological problems.Combining theoretical research with practical research, firstly this paper analyzes the structure and characteristics of Internet environment, to understand the external factors of Internet psychological problems'formation. Secondly, it interprets college students'Internet psychology from college students'psychological characteristics and Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, to explore the internal factors of Internet psychological problems'formation. Thirdly,550 college students were sampled from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, through questionnaire survey this paper investigates students'Internet use, Internet-dependent levels and mental healthy status. The survey found:normal group accounted for 80.5%, Internet-dependent group accounted for 13.5%, Internet addiction group accounted for 6%;College students who have different sex, hometown are not significantly different on Internet-dependent levels; Internet-dependent levels rise as the grade rises, seniors declined slightly; Internet-dependent levels of liberal arts students are higher than that of polytechnic students; normal group has the highest level of mental health, followed by Internet-dependent group, Internet addiction group has the lowest level of mental health. Finally, it discusses the psychological problems and performance caused by Internet dependence. Combining with the survey results, this paper proposes intervention strategies with pertinence and systematization from the level of family, school, individual and society, in order to make universities and individuals clear their respective roles in the Internet psychological intervention, act with a definite objective in view, and then make the intervention more effective.
