In the basic education curriculum reform outline (on the trail), the Education Department of China pointed out that a new evaluation system to promote students' full development should be established. It not only focuses on students' grades, but also find and develop their potentials in many ways. Meanwhile, the system should understand what students need in their development, help students know themselves and build confidence. Furthermore, the new system should exert the evaluation's educational function and promote students' development based on their previous level.<Outline> pointed out clearly that the curriculum evaluation paying too much attention on distinguishing and selecting should be changed. On the contrary, the new evaluation system ought to promote students' and teachers' development as well as the function of teaching and learning practice.Hunan Province has carried out the new curriculum experiment in senior high schools since the fall of 2007. With all the stuffs' efforts, a lot of achievements have been made in the ways of evaluating classes, teachers and students. At the same time, much valuable exploration related to developing evaluation system and supervising teaching level has been conducted. We have also acquired a great deal of valuable experience.However, due to many corrupt customs appearing in educational evaluation in the traditional curriculum, especially the deviation on our teaching goal, there still exist lots of problems in the educational evaluation reform in the process of new curriculum of senior high school in our province. For example, the new evaluation system is simple and single in some ways, pay much attention on utility and lack functions to promote, improve and encourage.This study aims to analyze the problems in educational evaluation in the process of the new curriculum of senior high school and explore some new ways of evaluation with guides of the theories of evaluating the new curriculum. By studying documentations, observing, visiting, interviewing, and collecting information, I'll try to find some solutions to solving the problems in evaluating the new curriculum of senior high school, evaluating teachers, and evaluating students, and learn to understand and deal with the problems and difficulties in educational evaluation in the process of the new curriculum of senior high school with realistic and dialectic thoughts, so that we can carry out the new evaluation theories better and better.
