This paper mainly makes a summary introduction to the development of the Confucius Institutes and cultural connotation and international transmission of tai chi. Then I make a deep research on account of the Confucius Institutes's cultural transmission.Through taking the disseminative situation of tai chi which is the traditional Chinese culture as a entry point, I make a research on the cultural transmission and popularization of Confucius Institute and come up with suggestions. This paper mainly adopts documentary research method and cross disciplinary method to do the research and analyze."International transmission of tai chi—Based on the analysis of Confucius Institute" has a very important researchful meaning in today's Chinese international promotion form, which makes up for the blank in the field of the current research. Taking the disseminative situation of tai chi which is the traditional Chinese culture as a entry point is quite novel. It has the feasibility and necessity to explore the whole macroscopic cultural international communication of the Confucius institutes from the micro perspective. Throughout the previous research achievements, I found that most of researches took Kong Fu as the macroscopic cultural phenomenon or took tai chi as physical culture form. The mass of papers concentrated on international communication of Kong Fuor tai chi and most of them combined with connotation and features of tai chi and Kong Fu from the angle of Culture and Communication. The researches about taking Confucius Institutes which is the new communicational platform of tai chi as objects are few. A lot of papers about cultural communication of Confucius Institute studied the current situations, problems and developing prospects and put forward suggestions in macro terms. Few of them explored the current situations of cultural international communication of the Confucius institutes t from a microscopic cultural project. So this paper take tai chi which is the most Chinese cultural characteristics of culture project as an entry point to explore the tai chi and international communication of Confucius Institutes. Through detailed information investigation and explore analysis, I hope to come up with some feasible suggestions to international cultural communication of Confucius Institutes,which will let Chinese culture be known by other people in different culture and places. It is also in favor of the diversity of culture and cultural inheritance. In the progress of communication, let Chinese culture and foreign cultures interplay, keep pace with the times and accomplish common development, really promoting the ascension of Chinese soft power. Make the Confucius institutes really become the international communication platform and effective ways of Chinese culture, playing their due role.
