Study Of Safeguarding The Land-lost Farmers' Rights And Interests

With the China's rapid economic growth, mass urbanization and industrialization emerge as the times require. There are projects and buildings being under construction everywhere. With this vision of full swift, a lot of farmland is levied; the farmers who lost their farmland are crowded into the cities for new jobs. They are different from other farmers, as they are forced to leave the farmland they live by; they are not citizens, for they cannot have the work opportunities and social security as citizens. They are in the group of Social marginalization, getting into poor life, difficult reemployment, every rights being damaged, falling into the colony of weak tendency.This paper adopts the analysis method of system balanced, firstly, to analyze the supply system situation for the farmers who lost their farmlands, in the aspect for levying, employment, medical treatment and endowment security respectively, as you have to know every systems which cause the lost of land-lost farmers'rights, before protecting their rights. Secondly, through the investigation of some land-lost farmers in our province, I collect their opinions and demands for current systems. Finally, through the analysis of demand and supply, find their misplacement; explore the reason for problems of land-lost farmers, and give the suggestions and countermeasures for protecting them from the aspects as following:such as the construction of Property system, the improvement of compensation, the reemployment work of farmers, and the construction of the social security system for farmers etc. in this way, we can solve the long-term livelihood problems and achieve the purpose of protecting their legal rights.If the land-lost farmers'problems cannot be solved properly, it will influence the modernization process of our country, and the words that the construction of a new socialist countryside and Socialist harmonious society will make nonsense. The paper tries to analyze through the lost-land farmers'demand for protecting their own rights, try to find the methods to solve the land-lost farmers'problems, to promote sustained economic and social stability and healthy development.
