Research On The Influence Of Science And Technology Progress Of Logistics On The Logistics Industry

With the rapid development of science and technology, its effect on economic growth is becoming more and more obvious. The logistics industry as an emerging industry that relevant with science and technology progress closely. It's the only way to use logistics technology to promote the development of the logistics industry. Jiangxi is located in the middle regions, the logistics activities of Jiangxi play an important role in China, and it will promote the development of the whole logistics industry. But the economy of Jiangxi province is underdeveloped, and its logistics industry is backward relatively. So today, it is necessary to accelerate the development of the logistics industry of Jiangxi. The status shows that it has failed to make full use of science and technology of logistics in the process of development of the logistics industry of Jiangxi. The people's awareness of science and technology of logistics is not strong. So it is necessary to research the influence of science and technology progress of logistics on the logistics industry of Jiangxi province, and understand and evaluate the effect of science and technology of logistics. And then promote the development of the logistics industry of Jiangxi.This paper analysis the influence of science and technology progress of logistics on the logistics industry of Jiangxi province based on the status of logistics industry and technology progress of Jiangxi. And then use the quantitative approach to calculate the contribution rate of science and technology progress of logistics based on grey theory and DEA-Malmquist index.The result shows that the influence of science and technology progress of logistics on the logistics industry of Jiangxi province is actively. But the contribution rate it also needs to enhance. It also means that it has some questions existed in the development of science and technology progress of logistics, it contains: The demand of science and technology of logistics is not enough; the logistics companies do not become the main body of technological innovation; the investment of the science and technology of logistics is less; the capacity of the achievements put into the market is low; lack of specialized personnel of logistics and so on. Therefore, in order to speed up the development of logistics industry in Jiangxi province, we need to improve the progress of science and technology of logistics urgently. So the government and the logistics companies need to work together. In the last of the paper, it gives some suggestions for the Jiangxi logistics industry growth based on the science and technology progress of logistics.
