Enterprises'core competence has become a"new term"used very frequently by many enterprises and entrepreneurs both at home and abroad, is the source of enterprise's long-term profits and fundamental guarantee of enterprises maintaining sustainable development. Advanced enterprise culture helps maintain the exuberant vitality of enterprises, while backward enterprise culture tends to directly cause the failure of enterprises in the competition. Entrepreneurs have got to realize the importance of enterprise culture and begun to attach great importance to the role of enterprise culture, especially the utilization of the competitive advantages of such key cultural elements as values, enterprise spirit, vision and tenet to gather enterprise strength, making technical innovation, system innovation and management innovation deeply rooted in enterprise culture to form the enterprises'core competence hard to imitate and to maintain an invincible position in the fierce market competition.As enterprise culture management is an important innovation in terms of management theories, key to cultivating enterprises'core competence and also fundamental guarantee of enterprises earning competitive advantages, so the construction of enterprise culture based on enterprises'core competence has become an inevitable choice for the survival and development of Chinese enterprises at the current stage. We must set foot on enterprise cultural theories and practice frontier, fully absorb the latest research achievements of enterprise cultural theories at home and abroad, discuss the relationship between enterprise culture and enterprises'core competence based on basic knowledge and large amount of empirical analysis, make clear the effect of enterprise culture on enterprises'core competence and relevant effect mechanism and discuss the means and methods for cultivating and constructing scientific and advanced enterprise culture. The study of enterprise culture shouldn't simply remain in formal combination. It's more important to incorporate the ideas, concepts and contents of enterprise culture into the core competence of enterprises, constantly cultivating, improving and reforming enterprise culture and eventually realizing the improvement and development of enterprises'core competence.Enterprise culture is the motive power of the innovation and sustainable development of enterprises and good enterprise culture helps inspire enterprise employees to bring their subjective initiative and creativity into fully play, advocate innovative awareness and innovative thoughts, effectively promote the rapid development of enterprises and maintain the strong competitive advantages of enterprises. Enterprises'core competence is represented differently in different competitive situation, for instance technical core competence, talent core competence, international competence, and these different competition profiles require different enterprise culture to match them at different stages, which requires constant enterprise cultural innovation, thus gradually promoting enterprises'core competence.The refinement and establishment of enterprises'core concepts are only the beginning of enterprises'cultural construction work, which can't be considered as an ultimate task, and call for continual supplement and perfection of the cultural system of enterprises and constant enrichment and enhancement of the connotation and level of enterprise culture. The core concepts need to be implemented in an all-round way in terms of mechanism, image and behavior through the identity and self-consciousness of core concepts to lay an ideological foundation for the enhancement of enterprises'core competence.
